I'm a 64 year old Englishman who's been living in France since 2009. I'm overweight, but exercise fairly regularly, walking, swimming, and cycling. In 2023 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The early days of the blog is reconstructed from what I've said to friends and family in emails and messages.
